Pros and Con of Owning a Cactus
I love cacti, they're my favorite plant.
First off these are the pros of owning a cacti. Cacti are very easy to take care of as water is something they don’t need very much of. Cacti will grow however big you'd like so they fit almost anywhere. They also are good to talk to. In a scientific sense they breathe in carbon dioxide (what you breathe out) and produce fresh oxygen (what you breathe in)!
According to the article “7 Health Benefits Of Having Cactus In Your House” written by the Cactus Way Team, “Having plants like cacti indoors can bring a feeling of calmness and increase your good mood.” And after all, who wants to be stuck inside without the beauty of nature?
So what are the cons of owning a cacti? First off cacti have spikes. Technically it's a con to have a spiky plant. Cats will sometimes nibble on cacti but the spines will poke them. So the cacti can be dangerous.
Any way I hope you enjoyed this, and I thank you for your time. Do you have a cacti or other houseplant tell me! See you next time
I think cacti are cool too.I think my mom has a cactus plant. I wonder how big the biggest cactus was?
ReplyDeleteHaving a cactus sounds like a fun idea. I have a bamboo plant, and it is kind of like a cactus because it doesn't need a lot of water. Do you have a cactus at your house?
ReplyDeleteI really liked you blog. I had no idea that cacti take in carbon dioxide and let out oxygen that is really cool. I have one question though does the size of the pot the cacti is in affect how much it grows.
